A policeman guarding a hotel in the Ijegun, Ikotun area of Lagos State has reportedly shot dead a 28-year-old graduate of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Jude Okoronta. The policeman, who is guarding the Hotel killed the graduate around 11 pm on Wednesday, according to the Sebkeyzblog. The newspaper reports that the victim was waiting for a commercial motorcycle to take him home in front of the hotel when the police man gunned him down. The brother of the deceased, Paul Okoronta, was quoted by the newspaper as saying, that Jude was a customer at the hotel, adding that he usually went there to catch fun. He explained that he had gone out of the hotel and was heading home when fight broke out in the hotel.
